Yola Tourism Group Celebrates World Women's Day 2023

Highlights from International Women's Day celebrations organized by Yola Tourism Group at Yola Airport on 8th March 2023. The Tour Manager, Mr Ukume Denis Ukume, congratulated and thanked the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly and incoming Distinguished Senator Rt. Hon. Iya Abbas over his victory on the Presidential Elections as the winner to represent Adamawa North-Central Senatorial seat and also his numerous contributions towards Women Empowerment in the state during his arrival from Abuja on Max Air flight .

The incoming Senator applauded the Group's efforts for organizing a great program and also promised to reach out to them whenever they need support .Finally the Senator added that women are the Pillars of the society and He will continue to empower them by all times.

Also speaking, Miss Yola Adamawa 2022/2023 , Maryam Mathias Ibrahim supported the special day set aside to celebrate women all over the world with refreshments, she also reaffirm that women can rule the world if they are united and by participating in politics they will be in the center of leadership stages in advocating for their rights.

During the Airport Facility Tour, all the participants learnt from Aviation Instructor Ukume Denis Ukume on the need for Women in Aviation and Airport Operations in Nigeria . He added that Ministry of Aviation in Nigeria is doing well in encouraging women by giving equal opportunities to gender at the time of employment.
